About the service
The first ten minutes
A fire in business premises rarely starts dramatically: an overheated cable in a suspended ceiling, a charger in a warehouse, a machine fault over the weekend. The first ten minutes decide whether the damage is a thousand or a million euros. A fire detection system exists for exactly those ten minutes: optical smoke detectors and heat detectors register a fire as it starts, the panel triggers in-building alarming and sends an alert at the same time, even when there is nobody in the building.
A legal obligation
For most business buildings in Croatia, fire detection isn't a matter of choice: the obligation to install and regularly test it follows from the Fire Protection Act and the threat assessment, and inspectors require documentation of periodic testing. We handle the whole chain: a survey of the current state and a project to the applicable standards (HRN EN 54), installation of detectors, manual call points and signalling, commissioning with documentation and periodic testing within the legal deadlines, with a reminder our system keeps for you.
To the use of the space
We size fire detection to the use of the space: offices and shops typically need optical smoke detectors per room and manual call points at exits; warehouses and production, rate-of-rise heat detectors where smoke forms late or vapours are present; kitchens and boiler rooms, special modes to avoid false alarms. The system connects to our central alarm receiving centre: a fire alert at 3 a.m. doesn't wait for the morning shift but triggers the protocol and a call to the fire brigade instantly.
Price and testing
The price depends on the floor area and the number of detectors: smaller business premises (up to 200 m²) roughly €1,500 to €3,000 with design and installation, larger buildings by project. We contract periodic testing annually, with a fixed price per building, and keep track of deadlines for you: when the inspector shows up, the documentation is in a folder, not in a panic.

Monitoring and maintenance
The alarm receiving centre takes over monitoring 0 to 24, and periodic servicing keeps the system in working order. One call and a technician is on site.

Frequently asked questions: fire detection
01Is fire detection legally required for my premises?
It depends on the use, floor area and fire threat assessment. For many business buildings it is, and for some it is a condition of the occupancy permit or insurance policy. On the free site visit we review the documentation and tell you exactly what is required.
02How often must fire detection be tested?
Periodic testing is carried out within legally prescribed intervals (as a rule once a year for system functionality, plus regular internal checks). We keep track of deadlines and schedule ourselves, with documentation after each test.
03What if the system reports a fire and nobody is on site?
That's why fire detection connects to our alarm receiving centre: an operator receives the alert 0 to 24, checks the event by protocol (video verification if there are cameras), and calls the responsible people and the fire brigade. The minutes gained that way are usually the difference between an intervention and a catastrophe.
04We have an old fire detection system, must it be replaced?
Not necessarily. We carry out a review: if the panel and detectors meet the standards and pass testing, we take over maintenance of the existing system. Only what doesn't comply is replaced, with a prioritised plan.
05Do you do fire detection for residential buildings too?
Yes, for co-ownership communities and building managers: common areas, garages and boiler rooms. We prepare a quote based on the floor plan and assessment, and contract maintenance and testing with the manager.
